About
Established in 2004 by brothers Matt and Warren Meyers alongside Dale Askew, Audiofreaks is a music company specialising in production, publishing and global marketing campaigns, working with partners around the world. Our consultants include industry heavyweights, such as Chris Herbert, founding manager of the Spice Girls and 5ive; Paul Farberman, former business manager to Celine Dion and former VP of Business at Universal Music; and Steve Tannett, the director of music platforms at Marshall Group.
We have helped establish international brands and achieved record sales well into the hundreds of millions, with streams reaching into the billions, in addition to countless worldwide hits and No. 1 chart successes. We have made records for major artists from London to Los Angeles, Seoul and Tokyo. The work below shows each record with its proof and its source.
Biography
Audiofreaks Music is a production, songwriting and publishing company in London. Brothers Matt and Warren Meyers set it up in 2004 with Dale Askew, after the team took over The Hit Factory recording complex at London Bridge, a studio empire made famous by Stock, Aitken and Waterman.
Its production team, Soulshaker, made its first No. 1 in 2005: Hypnotic Erotic Games, on the Music Week Upfront Club Chart. Soulshaker remixes and productions followed for Lindsay Lohan, Chaka Khan, Robin S and Nicole Scherzinger, and in 2017 Deborah Cox’s Let the World Be Ours Tonight went to No. 1 on Billboard Dance Club Songs in the US. In 2013 the team collected the Best International Dance Producers award at the Malta Music Awards. Since 2025 it records under its own name, The Meyers Bros.
Galactic Music, Audiofreaks’ publishing arm, places songs with artists in Japan, Korea and China. Its catalogue includes songs on SixTONES’ album 1ST, No. 1 on Oricon Albums in Japan in January 2021, and on records by NCT DREAM, OH MY GIRL, ITZY and Travis Japan. In 2014 Music Week reported that Peermusic had extended its publishing deal with Audiofreaks.
Audiofreaks worked on ITV2’s award-winning, BAFTA-nominated series The Big Reunion as music directors and music producers, made title and series music for Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, and made music for Netflix’s Dance 100. It manages the London pop artist Allegra, whose Round & Round, remixed by Tiësto, went to No. 1 on the Music Week Commercial Pop chart in the UK in 2023.

In their words
… they are collaborative, creative, trustworthy, professional, reliable, hard-working and a pleasure to work with. OK, they might have a bit of dodgy dress-sense but that’s OK ’cos you can close your eyes and just listen to the great music they create.
For a series like The Big Reunion, getting the music right was paramount to the success of the show. … It was a privilege to work with such an amazing pool of music directors and music producers. Along with their enthusiasm, work ethic and a smile, they also brought a “nothing is a problem” attitude. I would not hesitate to work with these guys again.
Audiofreaks created our titles music and stings, as well as working with us on other music used in the series, including backing tracks for a special Big Reunion performance. These guys are so full of infectious enthusiasm, excitement and a determination to deliver the best.

Producer and managing director
Half English and half Finnish, Matt Meyers has spent 30 years in the music business, building companies and finding new ways to work as the industry changes. His work covers artist development, A&R, publishing, promotion, television music direction, studio ownership, brand representation and international licensing.
As a producer and DJ, under several aliases, he has worked on records for artists including Nicole Scherzinger, Chaka Khan, CeCe Peniston, Karen Harding, Herb Alpert, Keri Hilson, Allegra, Lindsay Lohan, Crystal Waters, Robin S, Deborah Cox, Snow, Judge Jules, Paul Harris and Noelia.
The British rave scene took hold, and so did acid house, garage and hardcore on the pirate stations. Matt spent every hour he could in studios learning to produce, in record shops, and behind a pair of Technics 1210s, and learned the contracts side of the business early.
He went on to work as a talent scout for Mega Records in Denmark Street, Soho, in the year it signed Ace of Base’s All That She Wants, and scouted for Warner and Sony Music. Through the decade he ran monthly raves outside London, held a residency at Ministry of Sound on the Frisky nights for Decorum, guested on Judge Jules’ Saturday night Kiss FM show and on Graham Gold’s, and promoted events at many of London’s best-known venues.
Matt and his brother Warren took over The Hit Factory recording complex at London Bridge, the studios made famous by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, and with Michael Loney, formerly of Virgin Records, redeveloped it into a 6,000 square foot studio and creative complex. Producers including ESP from Murlyn Music, Julian Napolitano, Scott Mac, Andy Manston, Simon Langford and Tony Briscoe moved in.
There he met Dale Askew, who became the brothers’ business partner. Matt and Warren wrote and produced Hypnotic Erotic Games as Soulshaker, No. 1 on the Music Week Upfront Club Chart in 2005, and set up Audiofreaks Music.
ITV Studios engaged Matt as music director and music producer for ITV2’s The Big Reunion. His teams recorded and produced Liberty X, Blue, Five, A1, B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz, Eternal, 911, Damage and 3T. Audiofreaks worked on ITV2’s award-winning, BAFTA-nominated series The Big Reunion.
With Tony Adams he built Galactic Studios, a multi-studio complex in Kent, where the team signed Scott Stoddart and helped develop him as a producer for K-pop and J-pop. Fila and Russell Athletic engaged him for their brand-to-music strategy, and he set up a label deal with Tommy Boy Records in the US.
He set up publishing partnerships with Nichion Music in Japan and Music Cube in South Korea. With the team he made title music and stings for Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, recorded with Audiofreaks artist Jenna Donnelly, and music for ITV1’s Surprise Surprise, ITV2’s Peter Andre Show, E4’s Road to Ibiza and ITV1’s Meet the Parents. He began long-term management and artist-development work with Allegra, alongside Chris Herbert, and opened Audiofreaks Studios in Kent.
Audiofreaks Music’s writers and producers have secured releases with K-pop and J-pop acts including ITZY, IVE, NCT DREAM, OH MY GIRL, SixTONES and MISAMO. Deborah Cox’s Let the World Be Ours Tonight, written and produced by Warren with Jenna Doyle and A&R’d by Matt, went to No. 1 on Billboard Dance Club Songs in the US in 2017.
With Gianluca Pizzorno in Los Angeles he set up Tiësto’s remix of Allegra’s Round & Round. Matt and the team were music producers on Netflix’s Dance 100, produced by Studio Lambert, and secured the debut single for the new line-up of Menudo.

Producer, writer and director
Warren Meyers, also known as Soulshaker, has written and produced records for over 20 years, from ballads for boy bands and solo artists through R&B and pop to dance-floor records and the cooler end of house music.
He wrote and produced Deborah Cox’s Let the World Be Ours Tonight, No. 1 on Billboard Dance Club Songs in the US in 2017. Soulshaker received the Best International Dance Producers award at the Malta Music Awards, and in the company’s account a MIRA (Music Industry Recognition Award) for Best Dance Music Producers, and Best Remix of 2012 for its mix of Lindsay Lohan’s Bossy on Universal (US).
His remixes and productions with Audiofreaks and Soulshaker include records for Keri Hilson, Mary J. Blige, Karen Harding, Union J, SUPER JUNIOR, Chaka Khan, Nicole Scherzinger, Deborah Cox, Lindsay Lohan, Judge Jules, Paul Harris, Steve Mac, Herb Alpert, Ultra Naté, Robin S, Martha Wash, Bonnie Anderson, Noelia and CeCe Peniston. He is also the songwriter for the production and DJ act Dasco, signed to Sony’s Relentless.
Warren is a founding member and co-director of the Galactic Media group, formed in 2005, which includes Audiofreaks, Galactic Studios, Vineyard Studios and Galactic Music, with Peermusic, Nichion and ROBA.

Dream creator and director
Dale Askew has been a core part of Audiofreaks from day one, and his single-minded belief in the company has been a major part of its success. His outlook has had a positive effect on the whole team, and on the artists and producers we work with.
At Audiofreaks Music Dale is a company director, head mixing engineer and A&R director. He is also a producer in his own right, with credits under aliases including Kinetica, Bassmonkeys and Dasco.

Producer and publishing manager
Roxanne Woodcock works across the creative and business sides of Audiofreaks. In our studios she has worked alongside the songwriters, producers, DJs and musicians on the roster, and has become a producer in her own right, handling the vocal production on Audiofreaks singles.
On the business side she has worked in each of the companies in the Galactic Media group, learning publishing, promotion, marketing, licensing, legal, artist development and producer management. She has overseen more than fifty international 360-degree single campaigns, and is Audiofreaks’ publishing manager.

Producer, writer and artist
Tim Gosden is a producer, songwriter and musician based in Norwich, England, who graduated from Leeds Conservatoire in 2012. He has worked with Tiësto, with releases on Universal and Sony, and has had mainstream radio support.
He has produced and co-written for artists including Mari Bella, 4 Strings, DEMCHUK, ELLA A, Allegra, KAMA, Anne Gudrun, Tristan Henry, Evie Palmer, Judge Jules and Drenchill. His songs have competed in national Eurovision selections in Norway, Belgium and Serbia, and his hooks have been used in advertising, mainstream television and Netflix productions.

Producer, writer and artist
Feri Gyemant, also known as AudioTrip, is an electronic music producer, vocal producer and ghost producer, working across pop, commercial and neo-classical music.
He produced Jaki Nelson’s debut single Uh Oh. Wasted, the debut release by his former band XTALK, was featured for over nine weeks on BBC Introducing and played by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1.
As AudioTrip he recorded a guest mix for Judge Jules’ The Global Warm Up, after his single Emotions was played on the show. Under his dance alias ferKKo he has remixed Dasco, Sterling Void and Joe Smooth.

Producer, writer and artist
Jenna Donnelly, who also writes as Jenna Doyle, is a songwriter, singer and producer. She trained in piano, cello and voice, and has written and performed songs for major-label artists over the last decade, with releases on Sony, Virgin and Warner.
She worked with Warren Meyers on Deborah Cox’s Let the World Be Ours Tonight, No. 1 on Billboard Dance Club Songs in the US in 2017, and recorded the title music for Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. She writes for upcoming and established pop and dance artists, and writes and performs music for primetime television (ITV, The Voice).
As one half of Donnelly & Maltby she has written for musicals, published by Theatrical Rights Worldwide.

Creative director
Chris Herbert set up Safe Management in 1992. He was the founding manager of the Spice Girls, formed and managed Five, represented Hear’Say through the television series Popstars, and managed the artists from the BBC’s Fame Academy.
He manages performers, writers and producers, including Ivor Novello and BRIT Award winners. The Music Managers Forum named him Manager of the Year in 2001. With Audiofreaks he co-manages Allegra.

Business development
Steve Tannett is the director of music platforms at Marshall Group and heads Marshall Records. He has worked in music since 1977, when he signed a recording deal as a member of the punk band Menace with his future boss, Miles Copeland.
Since then he has worked on artists’ careers as a manager, as a label head at IRS Records and as a music publisher, with associations including R.E.M., The Police, Duran Duran, Black Sabbath, Sting, Jools Holland, Belinda Carlisle and Zucchero. He founded the house label Tribal United Kingdom, which released records by Junior Vasquez and Deep Dish.
I feel like I am home at last. Being part of a family that includes Matt and his incredibly talented team is heaven for me, as I love nothing more than working with gifted, driven people who have integrity and purpose.
